Sowton is a small secluded village tucked away just south-east of the M5/A30 junction in Devon. Sowton Village is approximately four miles from the centre of Exeter and two miles west of the Exeter International Airport. Within the village you will find forty percent of the homes in the village are Grade II listed. You will find 18 Grade II listed homes, one Grade I listed church and Grade II listed Church gate, 4 Grade II listed tombs, a Grade II listed Village Hall, a Grade II listed phone box and a Grade II listed railing over the Leat. In addition to this Sowton Village has a War Memorial.
